Dunno.. most of the game runs @60fps... it can go down to 30fps when playing 2P with heavy load of enemies on screen... but should be silk smooth most of the time :)
I am not familiar with MAME and am stuck at the "Casa de Ruivo" screen, which just loops endlessly. I can't get past it and actually play the game. I have pressed every key. ESC just exists the emulator itself. P pauses. Nothing else does anyhthing.

For some reason the NeoSD version isn't showing up in my menu list. I tried both older and the latest version. Is there a workaround? All my other games such as Golden Axe, Shinobi and Captain Barrel show without an issue. I deleted the Lastgame file and it's still not showing up in the list menu.

I found it, it was F2, as I had seen the options that Retroarch offers, I thought that the menu should look like this, but then I remembered that since it is a game on the Neo Geo platform, the options like number of lives, difficulty and time would be there, with TAB it only shows default options that are useless.

I was able to get this to run directly in Steam using the standalone MAME version he has for download. Add 'neogeo doubledragon' to the launch options. Ask AI how to disable bilinear filtering. I had to create a .ini file I think.
Great game! I have found a bug in the latest release (dunno if it was on the previous ones). When the time counter reaches zero and you let an enemy hit You... You don't lose a life.
Tried to install on MVSX and overwrote everything with the included updated beta 2 file and now mvsxh gives a black screen when booting and goes back to the original start up screen. Any idea what's up? Thanks so much. Can't wait to play. Cheers.

I didn't realize I had to have Omega. I am way behind on hylo modding and been using the same thing for like 3 years lol. Anyway I just installed it on my Analogue Pocket and worked great. Cheers good stuff

Hi OzzyOuzo, you are amazing. Thank you so much for this awesome project of DDOne. Would it be possible to create a Dreamcast version of Double Dragon OneDC.zip (Dreamcast) similar to teot[Beta-DC].zip (Dreamcast beta#3 rom).
The reason is because I am trying to run Double Dragon One on the Amazon Firestick 4K Max using cores such Final Burn Neo, FB Alpha 2012, etc. and no one of them seems to work and won't launch the Double Dragon Onegame.
I have also downloaded all versions of Double Dragon One from NeoGeo Rom to NeoGeoSD, etc. and tried all of them and tried all the cores and no one them would load the game.
I even unzip and extracted the file "doubledragon.neo" and tried loading that with multiple cores and it didn't work either.
But when I teot[Beta-DC].zip (Dreamcast beta#3 rom) using the FlyCast Core in RetroArch on my Amazon Firestick 4K Max, it worked and ran the game smoothly.
So if you are able to create Double Dragon OneDC.zip (Dreamcast) file version, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much again.
While DD1 could be ported to other platforms in the future i guess that you will have better luck waiting for the official support of the Beta2 from the FBneo team... which shouldn't take long ;-)

Easy way to get it working if you're running Steam Deck with Emudeck / Emulation Station, download ddOne-AES-MVS-Beta2-NeoSD.zip. Unpack doubledragon.neo. Put in roms folder for 'neogeo'. In Emulation Station, change default emulator for this rom to Geolith. Kick ass.
Hola, me funcionó la rom en el MiSTer sin problema, pero la rom para el NeoSD no me funciona en mi AES con el neoSD Pro, quizás falte el archivo base actualizado del flashcart de Terraonion para que reconozca la rom en el listado principal, tienen información al respecto?
en discord me dieron la respuesta, tienes que borrar el archivo LastGame.pro y ahí aparecerá el juego en el listado del NeoSD Pro (aunque se borrarán los anteriores juegos que hayas tenido precargados en el cartucho... sólo tienes que volver a cargar tus juegos favoritos :D)

But I don't know if it's a emulator issue or not. I'm not sure if there is any sound bug reported on MAME neo-geo emulation.

That's right, I'm talking about the music. Sometimes, it gets very high (for a few miliseconds), then it gets back to normal.

u may need to use <TAB> key to access Mame menu.

Be sure to delete the 'lastgame' file and check that there are less than 375 games in your library.. Then it should show up in your list :)

For me it doesnt work either of those options, only the mame.
it needs time for emulators authors to support new games / roms.. In few updates cycles the game will be supported everywhere ;-)

there are some batch files like run.bat or baddudes.bat into the root directory that u can run.
or using

just use the Mame packages available for download or u will have to modify the ./hash/neogeo.xml on your own
